The original selectors are warmly thanked for their efforts and I apologise if they have felt angst directed to them by various members of the chess community. In summary the Appeal Committee thought the appeal process did not allow sufficient time to submit further information to the selectors from the applicants. All other aspects of the appeals presented were considered lost. Therefore I have appointed three new selectors whose votes will be added to the original selectors votes and a result then agreed. Kerry Stead has agreed to fulfill the function of Junior Selection Co-ordinator in this task and I also thank him for accepting this task. Therefore he will advise all persons via email of details etc. all additional information supplied by applicants should go to Kerry Stead. Due to Catherine Lip being unavailable Shannon Oliver is hereby the selected junior for the U18 girls category.
